LA Noire is a detective game for one player from Rockstar Games is located in the infamous street in smoky back rooms of postwar Los Angeles.
Amid the boom of the postwar golden age of Hollywood, Cole Phelps, a detective with the LAPD, is thrown headfirst into a city drowning in its own excess. Corruption is rampant, the drug trade is exploding, and homicide rates are at their highest point ever. In their struggle to climb the category and do the right thing, Phelps must unravel the truth behind a string of arson, conspiracy, racketeering and brutal murder. In doing so, he will have to fight against crime LA and even members of his own department to uncover a secret that could shake the city to its rotten core. Using new animation technology that captures every nuance of an actor's facial performance, LA Noire is a violent crime thriller that mixes action with real detective work to provide an interactive experience. Looking for clues, chase suspects, and examine witnesses as it struggles to find the truth in a city where everyone has something to hide.
