A new beginning is an interactive film eco-thriller. In this classic adventure game an impending global climate cataclysm threatens the world, in a story torn from today's headlines on the critical issue of our time. In locations around the world, players must try to stem the tide - with the world hanging in the balance. In a new beginning, players take control of the two protagonists and explore the details, hand-painted backgrounds. The more than 30 characters are rendered in a realistic style and hand-animated 2D are hard in quality film. Many puzzles and adventurous situations have to be overcome to avoid climate chaos imminent.
Scientist Bent Svensson has had to give up his life's work trying to devise an alternative source of green energy. However, its existence as a reluctant retiree is interrupted by a very special visitor: The young Fay claims to have been sent from the future to avoid an impending environmental catastrophe. The only remaining hope is Bent's research which is about to fall to an energy magnate unscrupulous. Bent decides to trust the young - but is that really telling the truth?
